The entrance is often a real decorative headache: between passage room and storage space, we do not always know how to decorate it so that it is both practical and aesthetic. However, it would be a shame to neglect the entrance because it is what sets the tone for the rest of the house. Here is a selection of objects at low prices to stage it and amaze the gallery.
Classic theater version: the baroque
When we think of the theater, we immediately imagine the heavy red hangings and the golden moldings. In terms of decoration, we are lucky since the baroque style is in full vogue and we can therefore find many objects to accessorize the entrance: a baroque chandelier with pendants (€ 62.50 at Delamaison) that we will match with the Louisa console (105 € at Miliboo) and the Roby mirror (89 € at Deco Pas Cher). Finally we do not hesitate to hang red curtains like those from But at 15 € either for a trompe l'oeil effect or to hide the storage.
Contemporary theater version: monochrome
We can also opt for a more contemporary atmosphere but just as theatrical, so we emphasize an atmosphere slightly strange and quite arty. As in the photo, we limit ourselves to a single color from floor to ceiling, passing through the objects. In total white look, we equip ourselves with white Panodia frames (from € 18 at Photoexpression.com), the white lacquered console Enora (€ 169 at Moovin) and the white Miami mirror (€ 24.99 at Izaneo) . Finally, we choose coat hooks that could almost pass for works of contemporary art like the Hoffs which perfectly imitate teapots (13 € for 2 at Zalando).
